RED WHITE AND BLUE JELLO

Red White and Blue Jello is the perfect festive treat for any patriotic holiday. Not only is it delicious, but also a great decorative statement! Make them in a pan or clear cups for easy individual servings.

WANT ADDITIONAL WOW FACTORS AT YOUR NEXT PATRIOTIC CELEBRATION OR BARBECUE?

  • Look no further! Striped Red White and Blue Jello is a perfect choice. I made these the last 4th of July for a barbecue party and the compliments went through the roof! Kids and adults will love that each layer has a different complimenting flavor with the silky, smooth texture that only Jello can create. If you’ve never made Jello, it might look like it’s too complicated but it’s very easy. It can be made in any color to match your celebration!

WHAT SIZE PAN OR CUPS CAN BE USED?

  • 9-x-13-inch glass pan- makes about 108 (1-inch cubes) or 54 (2-inch squares)
  • 8-x-8-inch or 9-x-9-inch square glass pan– will make about 32 to 40 (1-inch cubes) or about 16 to 20 (2-inch squares). NOTE: If using a 8-x-8 or 9-x-9-inch pan, halve the recipe ingredients! The Jello is sold in 6 oz. or 3 oz. boxes.
  • 2 oz. or 3 oz. glass or clear plastic cups- will make about 24 individual servings

CAN OTHER COLORS BE SUBSTITUTED BY USING THE SAME INSTRUCTIONS?

  • Choose any color! You can use these instructions to make striped Jello that suits your celebration! Whether it’s a different flag, a baby shower, a birthday party, or just a colorful dinner.
  • NOTE: If you are not using white, omit the sweetened condensed milk and just make the middle with the same instructions for the top and bottom layers.

IS THERE A JELLO THAT IS WHITE?

  • YES, Piña Colada! You can omit the sweetened condensed milk by adding a Piña Colada layer that happens to be white. Unfortunately, it is not an easy Jello flavor to find so if you do find it, consider yourself lucky! It’s not the same as Pineapple Jello, which is yellow.
  • Piña Colada Jello has a pineapple-coconut flavor that some people might not or don’t like. My son being one of them. If that is the case, then the sweetened condensed milk layer is a better option.
