Garlic Pita Chips

Homemade Garlic Pita Chips are so easy to make and taste so much better than store bought pita chips. Choose any kind of prepared pitas, such as onion, whole wheat, or white wheat to make your pita chips. Garlic Pita Chips are so popular with my recipe for Lemon Hummus or any kind of hummus, guacamole, or salsa.

Homemade Garlic Pita Chips and my Lemon Hummus are one of my all time favorite appetizers to make. Everyone loves them and is always impressed that I made it from scratch! It’s really simple to do. I just cut each pita round in half, separating the top and bottom of the pita bread, then brush with my olive oil-fresh garlic mixture. The pita bread rounds are stacked on top of each other and cut into 8 triangles. Then the triangles are spread out onto two baking sheets and toasted in the oven until golden brown and a little crispy. My Lemon Hummus recipe is so delicious with the Garlic Pita Chips. The possible dishes to serve Garlic Pita Chips are really endless! Crab dip, Queso con Carne, Pico de Gallo, Seven Layer Dip, Guacamole, and any kind of creamy Middle Eastern or Indian main dish…just to name a few!!! Give this recipe a try and I think you’ll love it!

*Note if you don’t want to use garlic, the pita chips can be made without the garlic.
